Dear friends,

     It is with great regret that the music school Vesna informs that on May 16, 2012 after a grave illness, Alexander S. Ponomaryov, the Distinguished Artist of Russia, the founder and the principal of the children’s choir school Vesna, the artistic director and conductor of the choir Vesna, has passed away. Mr. Ponomaryov’s musical and pedagogical achievements have been honored with many state awards and titles in Russia. His activity was also met with wide international recognition. In the loving memory of his colleagues and students he will forever remain the talented musician, the beloved teacher and the man of great soul.

ORGAN HALL

A chamber organ was installed at VESNA in 1997, commemorating the 850th anniversary of Moscow. The organs by ‘Alexander Schuke Potsdam Orgelbau GmbH’ sound in many countries of Europe, Asia and Latin America. In Russia they play in Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Irkutsk, and in Moscow Conservatory. More
