Ponomaryov "VESNA" Children's Choir after a serious preliminary selection, went to the finals of the Euroradio Choral Competition “Let the People Sing"!
The competition was founded in 1961 in Britain by BBC, and since the late 70s it began to be held under the auspices of the European Broadcasting Union and acquired international status. The final of the competition will be held for the first time in the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona, October 13, 2019 in the magnificent Palau de la Música Catalana, the only concert hall registered as an object UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Choir performances will be broadcast live by radio organizations of the European Broadcasting Union, which means that the choir will sing for millions of listeners across Europe and beyond. The experts of the European Broadcasting Union conducted a strict selection. 
The semifinal of the competition was held in Geneva, where the international commission selected nine best choirs for audio recordings. In addition to "Vesna", eight more went to the finals of the Let the People Sing contest exclusively adult groups from Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Denmark and Latvia.
The jury will include representatives of broadcasting companies from America, the UK, Denmark, Spain and Finland. Outstanding choir conductors - Tõnu Kaljuste (Estonia) will head the jury and Daniel Reuss (Netherlands). The participation of the team from Moscow in such a prestigious project is without exaggerations crucial for the promotion and promotion of Russian musical art and children's education at the highest international level!
